Latest Book - Maisie G Cold Betrayal
It’s been a long time since I first embarked on a writing adventure and as I reflect over the last four years, I am amazed how far I have come! Since writing Hybrid Rebel, I have released six books; the fantasy sci-fi trilogy of Hybrid and three of my spy thrillers, Maisie G. They have been read In the USA, Australia, Germany, France, Brazil, and of course the UK. I chose the Amazon platform initially because I was coming to writing later in life and I wanted to get my work out as quickly as possible! Not that I have given up on finding an agent as this would be the ideal.
In the meantime, I am grateful that my books are being read and bought across many nations and I am blessed to receive many good reviews and feedback. So, thank you to all who have read and I value any constructive feedback you wish to give by contacting me through my website.
To summarise my writing to date is to give encouragement to anyone who has a passion for creating stories, whether for children, young adults or adults. I have found the joy of expressing thoughts and ideas into books exhilarating and challenging. It is not for the faint hearted or those who want a quick return. If one is looking for immediate financial benefits, then you could be disappointed. There again, if you land a great deal through an agent then be grateful! I am happy to work at this level for the time being, crafting my skills, attending author events and gaining insights to improve my writing. That is something I have learnt and wish to continue to do, improve!
So, my latest book, Maisie G – Cold Betrayal, has all the elements of those skills I have adopted over the years, creating a thriller paced to hook you from the beginning until the end. One element I love is creating new characters to sit alongside Maisie in her quest to find out the truth. From the beauty of the Maldives to the ancient city of Edinburgh, you are taken on a full octane ride as she attempts to save the King of the United Kingdom and find redemption for the deaths of her parents with the security services.
I encourage you to come along for the ride, as the next chapter in the Maisie G series is being written as I write now! I am always happy to receive your thoughts and observations and support!
